US Markets (DOW and NASDAQ) Today : April 10,2008

Its all tech related news which brought smiles on Walstreet. DOW up by 0.4% (55 points) and NASDAQ(29 points) by 1.3%.

Triggers:
1. Talks of Yahoo-AOL deal
2. Mixed march Retail sales
3. Improved earnings forecast of Wal-mart retailer and Dupont, the chemical maker
4. Lower commodity prices (Crude fell 76 cents to settle at $110.01)
5. Dollar gain vs EURO and YEN

Impact on India : With the way , the Asian markets are reacting at the moment by taking cues from US, we can expect a positive gap up opening.NIFTY can test 4900 levels but need to see if it settles above 4800 or not ? Today, when NIFTY reaches above 4900 levels, then one can buy 5000 PUT options for Rs:100 premium. Lets see if I can close 4500 CALL and move to 5000 PUT. Being the last day for this weekend and expected earnings report by IT major, we all are set for big break on either ways.
